Ready for the big event!

The Midsummer Festival 2026 runs from 10:00 AM Eastern (-4 GMT) on June 11th and continues until 3:00 AM Eastern (-4 GMT) on July 1st. The last full festival day is June 30th.

On Midsummer's Day of the year 3019 of the Third Age, Arwen and Aragorn exchange their vows, and everyone is called to the festively decorated Minas Tirith to attend the wedding. Stable-masters in many larger locations can take you there, e.g. the Stable-master of South Bree, as well as the Stable-masters in the housing areas.

To get you started, a Midsummer Reveller near the Stable-master at the City Stables of Minas Tirith sends you to Aragorn. You must first speak with him and then with the wedding planner Merilien (both at the top on the Citadel) to unlock the remaining festival quests.

If you are new to Midsummer Minas Tirith, you may find that only the Stable-master of the High Stables is available at first. This is meant to direct you to the Citadel, where things start. The others will be unlocked once you have spoken to one of them.

Note that you can only hold a maximum of 250 Midsummer Tokens. Anything beyond that is lost. So spend your coins happily! Feredis the “Barter-matron" stands next to Merilien at the Courtyard of the Fountain on the Citadel. You can also find her at Furtherholm in front of the inn.

Before every quest run, visit Faeleth near the Stable-master of the City Stables, as she gives out the wrapper quests listed below. They give very nice extra rewards for doing 10 Midsummer quests a day. Alternatively, you can now also get the wrappers from Captain Khâtaphos at Furtherholm.

On the in-game map, the ramps are barely visible, and the letters obscure the actual map on the west side. So here’s a modified map.
Stable-masters are near the ramps on every tier except the Citadel. The tiers are from top to bottom:

• 7th Tier - Citadel
• 6th Tier - Masters' Tier (Stable-master: "High Stables", long-distance travel available)
• 5th Tier - Sages' Tier
• 4th Tier - Players' Tier
• 3rd Tier - Craftsmen's Tier
• 2nd Tier - Soldiers' Tier
• 1st Tier - Workers' Tier (Stable-master: "Main Gate" / “City Stables”, long-distance travel available)

Intro and Wrapper

The Festival of Midsummer Has Arrived! (Auto-bestowed)

Simply confirm accepting and completing the quest. You don't need to "save" the map. Many Stable-masters in larger locations can take you to Minas Tirith (Midsummer), e.g. the one in South Bree or in Homesteads. You will land directly at the Stable-master of the first tier, where Faeleth stands. You should visit her (or Captain Khâtaphos on Furtherholm) first thing every day for the wrapper quests, which offer extra rewards.

A Midsummer Welcome (Midsummer Reveller)

The Reveller stands close to the Stable-master in the 1st Tier (Workers' Tier). You are directed to King Elessar and then to Merilien, the main quest giver.

This quest unlocks the Minas Tirith quests.

At Aragorn you can also continue the Epic (Volume V, Book 1). The book takes place entirely within the Midsummer Festival and tells of Arwen's and Aragorn's wedding. It is not required for the "normal" Midsummer quests though! If you would rather experience the Epic in order, just skip it until you are ready. The Midsummer festival need not be active for the Epic to be available.

There is no Stable-master on the Citadel. You get there by taking a horse to the High Stables on the sixth tier. Dismount immediately when you become visible, turn 180° and walk or ride back to the start of the tunnel. From there, a ramp leads sharply right up to the Citadel.

Reward: 1 Midsummer Token
This quest can only be completed once during the festival.

In Celebration of Midsummer (Faeleth or Captain Khâtaphos)

Take part in the Midsummer celebrations (10 quests).
Faeleth stands below at the Stable-master in the 1st Tier (Workers' Tier).
Khâtaphos is in the inn on Furtherholme.

Reward: 5 Midsummer Tokens.
This quest can be played once daily.

A Fondness for Festivity (Faeleth or Captain Khâtaphos)

Complete "In Celebration of Midsummer" multiple times.

• Intro: Complete "In Celebration of Midsummer" 3 times.
  Reward: 300 Figments of Splendour, 1 part of an Essence Reclamation Scroll, 1 universal optional crafting ingredient, 1000 Virtue Experience Points.
• Intermediate: Complete "In Celebration of Midsummer" 3 times.
  Reward: 400 Figments of Splendour, 1 part of an Essence Reclamation Scroll, 1 universal optional crafting ingredient, 1000 Virtue Experience Points.
• Intermediate: Complete "In Celebration of Midsummer" 3 times.
  Reward: 500 Figments of Splendour, 1 part of an Essence Reclamation Scroll, 1 universal optional crafting ingredient, 1000 Virtue Experience Points.
• Advanced: Complete "In Celebration of Midsummer" 3 times.

The Majesty of Midsummer (Faeleth or Captain Khâtaphos)

Complete "A Fondness for Festivity" multiple times.

• Complete "A Fondness for Festivity" (Intro).
• Complete "A Fondness for Festivity" (Intermediate).
• Complete "A Fondness for Festivity" (Intermediate).
• Complete "A Fondness for Festivity" (Advanced).

Reward: 500 Figments of Splendour, 1 part of an Essence Reclamation Scroll, 5 Midsummer Tokens, 1 universal optional crafting ingredient, 1 Legendary Tracery Mark.
This quest can only be completed once during the festival.

The Figments of Splendour land in your wallet. They are available account-wide (though restricted to your actual server) and can be exchanged at Curators or Quartermasters for Travellers/Adventurers in Bree (Boar Fountain), Galtrev, the 21st Hall, and Skarháld (Ered Mithrin) for cosmetics, companions, and mounts.
Keep in mind that you can hold a maximum of 10,000 Figments of Splendour on a given server. Anything beyond that is lost. So spend them in time, just like these two obviously did on their fancy outfits!

A very quick run of 10 festival quests

Although some of Khâtaphos’s “Guest gathering” quests only take a couple of seconds, this depends heavily on your travel abilities. For this reason, I have removed “Guests” from this run in favour of “Aiding the Stable-hands” in Minas Tirith, which even small characters with no extra milestones can do fast. If you have convenient travel abilities at hand, you may want to skip it and do “Guests” instead. In that case, start your run with Khâtaphos on Furtherholm.

This run will take you ~10-12 minutes, depending on your routine.

• Travel to Minas Tirith; accept In Celebration of Midsummer (the daily wrapper) from Faeleth.
• Enter the City Stables, do Aiding the Stable-hands and hand it in.
• Use the Festival horse next to Faeleth to travel to Furtherholm.
• Enter the inn; accept Housekeeping and Tidal Treasures from Darôma. Do “Housekeeping”.
• Leave the inn and accept Building Castles from Merkhâma. Build the first sandcastle right in front of her.
• Accept A Flock of Seagulls, Cat Conundrum + sub-quest and Eyesores Drifted Ashore from Maghôrdo.
• Immediately start feeding cats and shooing seagulls, while riding to the south side of the harbour. Accept Let’s Go Fly a Kite from Tâlugar.
• Fly your kite and run back a few steps along the western side of the harbour to collect the kite spot there.
• Build the sandcastle west of the harbour.
• Now mount your steed, and moving on counter-clockwise around the harbour, collect all the quests-objectives there. Visit the Sassy Cat on the southern walkway, but don’t visit the southern beach yet.
• Upon crossing the central bridge, dismount shortly to collect the kite spot.
• Keep collecting; dismount to fly your kite on the small triangular sandy area next to the ship quai.
• Upon finishing your tour of the harbour with the Smelly Cat near the Horce-race master, start collecting the shells for Darôma. One is right there by the cliffs, the others are further north on the eastern beach.
• Return to the Horse-master and do the Horse-race. The race ends on the southern beach. Hand in the quest.
• Now collect the remaining quest objectives on the southern beach, starting in the east and running west. Keep your kite flying until you have collected the two remaining kite spots.
• From the westernmost flotsam, you can take the mountain path right north of it, then ride past the race-gate and jump down near Tâlugar.
• Hand in everybody’s quests (moving very close to Maghôrdo to trigger the cat quests), and finish with the wrapper at Khâtaphos.

Swap any of these for other quests you may need for deeds.

Runnfura here has a very similar run, with Unhelpful Hounds in Minas Tirith instead of the Furtherholm horse race, which didn’t exist yet when the video was made. It’s an excellent run too, just depending a little more on luck, meaning if the correct hound is further away from you when you pick up the quest, it will take more time. Give it a try!

There seem to be only nine quests in this run, but Cat Conundrum + the sub-quest are actually two quests. The sub-quest (“No to Cats” or “Yes to Cats”) auto-completes when you approach Maghôrdo; “Cat Conundrum” itself must be handed in. You may have to move VERY CLOSE to Maghôrdo in order for the quest ring to appear.

Merilien's Quests

To the Last Drop (Merilien)

Merilien stands in the central square of the Citadel.
Find the right wine barrel for the wedding planner. The barrels are in the kitchen of the "Splintered Shield" inn in the second tier. You must work your way through the glasses on the table to choose a suitable wine.

What Ales You (Merilien)

Merilien stands in the central square of the Citadel.
Collect beer barrels for the festival! (4/4)
The beer barrels are in four inns in Minas Tirith that survived the war:

• in the "Mûmak and Keep" in the SSW of the second tier (Soldiers' Tier)
• in the "Splintered Shield" in the SW of the second tier (Soldiers' Tier)
• in the "Merry Swan" in the SW of the third tier (Craftsmen's Tier)
• in the “Thirsty Seer" in the SW of the fifth tier (Sages' Tier)

Reward: 3 Midsummer Tokens
This quest can be played once daily.

Tip: Have a look in the cellar of the "Splintered Shield" - the one below the wine cellar!

Something Floral (Merilien)

Merilien stands in the central square of the Citadel.
Place floral decorations in the Houses of Lore in the fifth tier (Sages' Tier, Sages' Tier). (6/6)
The floral decorations are meant to bring a little life to the old, dusty library, especially the room with all the dead things!
Two of the spots are on the upper floor, all the way to the southwest.

Reward: 3 Midsummer Tokens

Wedding Supplies (Merilien)

Merilien stands in the central square of the Citadel.
Collect crates of wedding supplies. (5/5)
Merilien has ordered exquisite goods from across the land for the wedding. Find them in the third tier (Craftsmen's Tier) and bring them to her.
The "Select Nearest Object" function (enter this in the options search field to find or remap the keyboard shortcut) helps track down the chests. You can then “Use Selection”.
The small crates disappear for about a minute when someone picks them up, so here are the locations I know (all on the Craftsmen's Tier):

• in the House of Craft in the SW and NW of the hall
• in front of the House of Craft at a stable at 23.3N, 54.9W (across from the potter)
• in the SE in front of a door at 21.1N, 55.4W (just past Ciriel)
• in the S on a terrace in front of a door at 20.9N, 56.0W
• diagonally across from a door at 21.1N, 56.1W
• in the SW in front of a door at 21.1N, 56.3W

Reward: 3 Midsummer Tokens

Lightning in a Bottle (Merilien)

Merilien stands in the central square of the Citadel.
Collect fireflies for magical lighting at the festival! The colours should be especially beautiful, so you will need to travel a little in the world.

Once you have accepted the quest, Merilien offers four new quests. You can accept only one of these each day ((see below), and you can only catch fireflies if you have accepted the corresponding quest! The fireflies then have golden rings and are right-clickable. If the rings are blue instead, you must return to Merilien and accept one of the four quests.

The fireflies are SMALL. Use "Select Nearest NPC" and then "Use Selection" to catch them.

The fireflies only appear at night, from Gloaming to Foredawn. Dawn and Dusk count as day and do not qualify. There is a small icon by the radar that shows you either a yellow sun or a moon for orientation. For a more precise display of the time of day, I recommend the plugin TitanBar. After installing, click right on the bar at the top of the screen and activate the clock display. You can also move the items on the bar around.

Reward: 3 Midsummer Tokens, plus one token for each individual firefly hunt (so 4 tokens total)

Amethyst Firefly Lanterns

Catch 12 amethyst fireflies at the Grimwater in the Ered Luin. The lake is north of Gondamon, near the Grimhand camp.
Once you have filled four lanterns, return to Merilien. You must then place the lanterns in the sixth tier: two in the Houses of Healing (the House of Remedies, the western one), and two in an alcove to the southwest of the tier (22.0N, 56.3W). "Select Nearest Object" helps with finding the spot.

Reward: 1 Midsummer Token, 1 Drinking Horn Equipment Kit

Ruby Firefly Lanterns

Catch 12 ruby fireflies in the north of the Rushock Bog in the Shire.
Return with the fireflies to Merilien. She asks you to place the lanterns in the "Hall of Air" theatre in the NW of the fifth tier.

Reward: 1 Midsummer Token, 1 Strawberry Tart Baking Kit

Sapphire Firefly Lanterns

Catch 12 sapphire fireflies at the lake west of Duíllont, below Dol Ringwest.
The mention of Nen Hilith in the quest-text is an error; you will find the fireflies at the lake just west of Duíllont.
These firefly lanterns go in the garden in the courtyard of Voronwë in the fourth tier.

Reward: 1 Midsummer Token, 1 Wedding Place Setting Kit.

Emerald Firefly Lanterns

Catch 12 emerald-green fireflies in the east of the Midgewater Marshes in the Bree-land.
These fireflies must then be placed around the stage in the "Merry Swan" in the SW of the Craftsmen's Tier (take the Stable-master to the Players' Tier, then ride down the ramp).

Reward: 1 Midsummer Token, 1 Banner of the Newly-wed Kit

Tasty Morsels (Othnoron)

The cook Othnoron stands in the south of the Citadel Courtyard by the buffet.
You are to bring some tasty samples to several representatives of the city's high society, from whom he hopes to receive future commissions. You will find all of them in the southeast to southwest of the fourth tier:

• Daghir: in the ESE, 21.8N, 55.0W
• Pelnen: in the SE, 21.5N, 55.4W
• Gwárben: in the S, 21.3N, 55.7W
• Arastil: in the SW, 21.4N, 56.1W
• Brandion: in the SW, 21.3N, 56.2W

Reward: 3 Midsummer Tokens

Floral Crowns (Florist)

The Florist stands a little south of the Tower of Ecthelion.
First find the Florist’s daughter. She is somewhere in the first tier. More specifically, at the Old Guest House in the ESE of the tier.
Then you are to help her search for summer flowers, which you will find to the south and north of the Guest House (10/10). The "Select Nearest Object" and "Use Selection" functions are recommended here again.
Finally, the girl asks you to weave the flowers into garlands. Use the picnic blanket lying on the lawn on the other side of the path.
Then return to the Florist.

Reward: 3 Midsummer Tokens
This quest can be played once daily.

Arranging Arrangements (Florist)

The Flower Vendor south of the Tower of Ecthelion asks you to place floral arrangements at various locations in the city (5/5). Here is where you can place the arrangements:

• in the "Merry Swan" in the SW of the Craftsmen's Tier (2)
• in the "Blue Theatre" in the SW of the Players' Tier (3)
• in the "Hall of Air" theatre in the NW of the Sages' Tier (2)

A Long-awaited Banquet: A Celebration Without End (Toldir)

Toldir stands in the entrance area of the feast hall Merethrond on the Citadel.

For this quest group you must have attended the wedding ceremony. After that you can enter the feast hall Merethrond at any time.

Merethrond is the feast hall where the wedding banquet takes place. It is located in the north of the Citadel, right next to the ramp to the 6th Tier. The entrance is hidden behind a group of columns; it is accessible via two small staircases with greenish-glowing windows.

In Merethrond you must always complete one quest before you can accept the next, and you can only complete one quest per day. An exception is Merethien's quest, which belongs to the Epic quest line (not mentioned in this guide).

There are 9 quests, one from each member of the Fellowship, with Faramir standing in for Boromir.

Reward: 3 Midsummer Tokens, plus one additional token for each individual quest, see below.

A Long-awaited Banquet: Peregrin Took

The kind-hearted Pippin wants you to fetch some food from Merethrond's kitchen and bring it to hungry war refugees at the Old Guest House.
On this occasion, you learn that it was Pippin who interceded with Aragorn to allow Beregond, the banished guard, to return to Minas Tirith to his family, if only for this one day.

Background: Beregond had killed the soldiers standing guard when Denethor wanted to burn himself and the wounded Faramir alive at the Silent Street. Thus he helped save Faramir's life, but also now had blood on his hands, shed on holy ground. For this reason, Aragorn banished Beregond from the city after his coronation, but at the same time appointed him Captain of Faramir's personal guard.

Reward: 1 Midsummer Token

A Long-awaited Banquet: Meriadoc Brandybuck

Merry misses his pipe-weed. He believes it is either in the High Stables, in the baths of the Southern Great Guest House, or on the prow of Minas Tirith.

• The Southern Great Guest House is located in the southeast of the Citadel. Go through the door in the southeast of the hall and follow the corridor into the baths.
• The "prow" of Minas Tirith extends eastward above the broad staircase on the Citadel. The spot to search is all the way at the far end.
• The High Stables are found at the Stable-master of the same name, below the Citadel in the 6th Tier. Look around in the NW, up on the stairs.

Unfortunately the pipe-weed was nowhere to be found. But when you return to the Guest House, Toldir can help you!

Background: Saruman actually imported his pipe-weed from the Shire. If you have quested in the Shire, you surely remember Gerebert Took, who accidentally fell asleep on a cartload of pipe-weed owned by Longo Burrow and, when he awoke, found himself in Orthanc!

A Long-awaited Banquet: Samwise Gamgee

Sam asks you for a private conversation at the foot of a staircase opposite the High King's table. He is haunted by tormenting thoughts of the Shire, scattered throughout Merethrond. Help him by driving them away.

ATTENTION: The quest states six thoughts that need to be driven away, but there are actually eight (see image below):

• Jolly Cotton, Tolman Cotton, Nick Cotton, Rosie Cotton, and Marigold Gamgee upstairs in the banquet hall
• Gaffer Gamgee and Hal Gamgee on the ground floor
• and young Nibs Cotton in the kitchen.

Finally meet Sam again downstairs at the staircase.

Reward: 1 Midsummer Token

A Long-awaited Banquet: Frodo Baggins

What would Bilbo have to say about all this? Bring Frodo a quill, ink and 4 sheets of parchment so he can write down his thoughts. You can search for the supplies in the Blue Theatre or in the Houses of Lore. At either location there is enough to complete the quest.

Does Frodo really want to sit and brood and write in the middle of the wedding banquet?

A Long-awaited Banquet: Faramir

Faramir is lost in thoughts of his brother Boromir and his father Denethor, both of whom lost their lives in the war. Even though Denethor famously treated his younger son poorly, Faramir bears him no ill will. You are to bury a memorial stone for his father by the new sapling of the White Tree.
Now Faramir can turn his thoughts to a kinder future.

Background:
The Horn of Gondor shattered when Boromir was killed by Orcs at Amon Hen while defending the Hobbits.
Denethor died when during the Battle of Minas Tirith he sought to burn himself and the seemingly dead Faramir alive. Faramir was rescued.
The sapling is already the fourth "White Tree of Gondor". It was fetched by Aragorn and Gandalf from the slopes of the Mindolluin. Shortly afterwards, in June, just before the Great Wedding, the small tree put forth its first blossoms.

"Then Aragorn laid his hand gently to the sapling, and lo! it seemed to hold only lightly to the earth, and it was removed without hurt; and Aragorn carried it back to the Citadel. Then the withered tree was uprooted, but with reverence; and they did not burn it, but laid it to rest in the silence of Rath Dínen. And Aragorn planted the new tree in the court by the fountain, and swiftly and joyfully it began to grow; and when the month of June entered in it was laden with blossom.
'The sign has been given,' said Aragorn, 'and the day is not far off.' And he set watchmen upon the walls."

A Long-awaited Banquet: Gimli

Gimli asks you to drink with him and listen to his thoughts.
For drinking, use the tankard on the table. To listen (emote icon in the quest overview), you must target Gimli.

Background: The terrible battering ram Grond had already been laden with great spells in the forges of Mordor and was enchanted again during the battle by the Witch-king of Angmar. Thus it was finally able to break the mighty gates of Minas Tirith.

"Then the Black Captain rose in his stirrups and cried aloud in a dreadful voice, speaking in some forgotten tongue words of power and terror to rend both heart and stone.
Thrice he cried. Thrice the great ram boomed. And suddenly upon the last stroke the Gate of Gondor broke. As if stricken by some blasting spell it burst asunder: there was a flash of shattering lightning, and the doors tumbled in riven fragments to the ground."

A Long-awaited Banquet: Legolas

Legolas demands a rematch from Gimli, who killed one more Orc than he did during the Battle of Minas Tirith. What could be more fitting than a drinking contest? Gimli, however, finds this inappropriate for the occasion. Could the sight of full wine bottles perhaps change his mind? Fetch 10 wine bottles from the cellar of Merethrond and try your luck!

A Long-awaited Banquet: Mithrandir

Gandalf asks you to fetch two thick books from the High Guest House. As you already know from the Epic quest, Gandalf's quarters are on the upper floor in the northwest.
The "High Guest House" is located in the north of the Citadel.

What in Middle-earth does Gandalf want with the heavy tomes in the middle of the banquet? Prepare to be surprised!

A Long-awaited Banquet: King Aragorn II Elessar

Aragorn wishes to give a speech and sends you to ask for quiet at 14 tables in the banquet hall. The "Select Nearest Object" and "Use Selection" functions come in handy here again.
All tables are on the upper floor of Merethrond.

The speech is mercifully brief :-)

Quests in the Tiers

A Cure for All Ills (Ioreth)

The High Hall is located in the south of the 6th Tier (Masters' Tier). There are several "Houses of Healing"; this is the eastern one.
Ioreth is not very enthusiastic about the festivities. Bottles are lying around everywhere and people are making a ruckus. Help her restore order:
Dispose of empty bottles. (10/10)
Chase away noisy festival-goers. (6/6)
You can chase away the same guests multiple times - they are persistent and do not stay away for long.

Reward: 3 Midsummer Tokens
This quest can be played once daily.

Love is in the Air (Colladan)

Colladan is in the Houses of Lore in the 5th Tier (Sages' Tier) on the upper floor in the south.
He has collected love poems to impress his beloved, but someone opened the window and everything has blown away. Help him search the library for the pages. (6/6)

With multiple players collecting pages, the quest can become annoying. Colladan should have written more poems! Come back later when it is quieter if needed.

The keyboard shortcuts for "Select Nearest NPC" and "Use Selection" are useful for this quest. Yes, the letters are NPCs, not objects! You don't need to face the letters to pick them up, they just must not be too far away. So: target a letter, walk a little towards it, and then "use" it.

There are 4 spots on the upper floor and 2 on the ground floor where letters can be caught. Once you pick one up, it reappears after about a minute. You can catch any number of letters at the same spot.

TIP: Have you ever looked up at the ceiling in the room south of Colladan?

Something Misplaced, Something Blue (Duillam)

Duillam stands in the entrance area of the Blue Theatre in the SW of the 4th Tier (Players' Tier). He bears a vague resemblance to a famous man of the theatre and his name sounds a bit like that person's first name too.
You are to send the actors of the troupe "Cloudyheads" backstage. There are six actors, and you must speak to each of them once: the Hobbits Robbo Roper and Polla Fatt, the Dwarves Fróki and Hollur, the Elf Daenar, and the Man Gord Dunley.
Each of the actors can be in one of three locations (see map). As soon as one has been spoken to and moved on, they reappear elsewhere immediately. Therefore the quest is easy to complete even with many players around.

Growing Pains (Lebadar)

The gardener Lebadar stands in the NE of the 2nd Tier (Soldiers' Tier) at the bottom of the ramp to the third tier.
He is an elderly man and needs help in the garden with the statue of Steward Egalmoth in the far NE of the 3rd Tier (Craftsmen's Tier). Water the bushes there (4/4) and pull some weeds (5/5).

Unhelpful Hounds (Worried Woman)

The woman stands in the NE of the 2nd Tier (Soldiers' Tier) at 24.1N, 55.2W. Nearest Stable-master: Craftsmen's Tier, one level up.
She asks you to chase the dog that stole her engagement ring.

It is always the same dog (click for spoiler) ...

Instead of clicking the dogs directly, you can also target them with "select nearest NPC" or click on them on the minimap. Then use "Use Selection".

Borlach stands in the SE of the 2nd Tier (Soldiers' Tier) near the Stable-master.
He is a painter and needs materials for pigments:

• Clay from the potter in the NE of the Craftsmen's Tier
• Flowers from the gardener Lebadar in the NE of the second tier by the ramp to the Craftsmen's Tier.

Sweet Treats (Ciriel)

The baker Ciriel stands in the SSE of the 3rd Tier (Craftsmen's Tier).
She wants you to distribute some pastries among the guards (4/4).
All guards are on the Craftsmen's Tier, two to the northeast and two to the southwest of Ciriel. They no longer seem to perform their "Look Around" guard emote and so are now always approachable.

Honouring Healers (Postmaster)

The Postmaster is in the House of Craft in the northeast of the 3rd Tier (Craftsmen's Tier).
Deliver six letters of thanks to the healers in the Houses of Healing in the 6th Tier (Masters' Tier). The Houses of Healing are a complex of buildings; this is the western one, the House of Remedies - not the High Hall.
All except Healer 2 are patrolling, with Healer 4 usually getting stuck in her chamber.
When a healer is spoken to, they stop for a while.

Loborís is a stable-hand in the Stables of the 1st Tier (Workers' Tier).
Fetch a brush and apples from the crates at the back of the stable and help her feed the well-behaved horses and groom the disheveled ones.

Toss a Coin (Ulthir)

Ulthir is on the upper floor of the "Splintered Shield" inn in the 2nd Tier (Soldiers' Tier). He wants a bit of peace and quiet and asks you to toss coins to the wailing bards so they will stop (6/6).
One bard is right near Ulthir, another on the southern staircase leading down from him. Two are in the main room, one in the northeast in the sleeping quarters up the ladder, one in the wine cellar.

Flowers that Fester (Vinca Pot, rebellious youngsters)

Vinca and her friends are hiding behind a hedge southeast of the Party Tree. They want to spice up the festival by decorating the tables with stinky flowers. Do you really want to take part in this? Of course, so help yourself to Vinca's basket and get going. But don't get caught by Caltha Goodchild and her helpers – that is, look out for the eye symbols on the minimap and don't get too close to them.
Caltha stands at the Party Tree and doesn't move from the spot. Her two helpers, however, patrol around the tree, so take care!

Deceptive Invitations (Cunning Hobbit-woman)

The woman stands at the Party Tree and wants you to hand out some wrongly dated invitations so that certain annoying Hobbits won't show up at the celebration.
Annoying Hobbits can be found at the Party Tree, in front of Bag End (strangely, it's not Lobelia Sackville-Baggins this time), and then further south, all the way into Hobbiton.

Man Quests

All Fired Up (Rona Turner)

Rona stands by the forges in West Bree.
After her apprentice knocked over an entire shelf of pottery, she needs new goods:

• Pine logs from the meadows northwest of Bree for the fire
• Clay from the Everclear Lakes northwest of Bree
• Willow branches from a willow at the lake southeast of Bree in the southern Chetwood
• and a tip from Maud Tatter (sitting on a bench in front of the armour shop across from the Town Hall).

The clay spots reappear after a short time, so you won't need to search for long.

Filled to the Brim (Barleyman Butterbur)

The inn is bursting at the seams and Mr. Butterbur needs support. Collect stray mugs and drive away drunks dancing on the tables. Everything can be done both in the common room and in the back rooms, and drunks can be told off multiple times.

Dwarf Quests

A Midsummer Shine (Skóri)

For the Midsummer celebrations, all Dwarves want their beards perfectly groomed. Impossible for a single barber to manage it all. Help him cut Dwarf beards. Unkempt Dwarves can be found right in the tavern. You can shave the same Dwarf multiple times once he reappears shortly after the previous treatment. Dwarf beards sure grow fast.

More Precious than Mithril (Slágin)

Slágin stands in the smithy hall, all the way at the back.
Some elderly Dwarves want to give their wives gifts for the festival, but are too frail or too busy to go themselves. Fetch them silver, sapphires, and sand from the Silver Deep Mine and some animal bones from the surrounding lands. Not from evil creatures though! Lynxes and aurochs are "good" enough (poor creatures ...)

Elf Quests

Coming Home (Gairil)

Gairil, the lantern-maker, stands at the middle dock.
As a remembrance of their loved ones who have sailed west before them, the Elves let glowing lanterns drift down the river. If someone cannot complete this task themselves, Gairil takes over the making of the lanterns. Fetch wax for him from Limael's Vineyard.
Small beehives are found on the left and right of the path leading to the vineyard.

Cords of Love (Celairel)

Celairel has moved and is now at a workbench in the south of Duíllont at coordinates 24.7S, 93.0W. (Thanks to Isisiel as well as Simon and Gerolf from the Wandering Friends on Meriadoc who figured it out! :-))
She first sends you to Thorian in the centre of Duíllont. Thorian in turn sends you to Brethilas' shop on the large platform to the east, to fetch a bolt of silk. Sew ribbons at Thorian's special workbench.
Next you must obtain talismans from the smith Dringlaer and collect 10 perfect blossoms north and southwest of Duíllont. Now you can craft handfasting cords at a special workbench near Celairiel.

The Midsummer Race on the Shield Isles

There is now also a horse-race on Furtherholm! It starts east of the inn, where Lêkhar assigns you a steed. First, you ride along the road, but on the west of the islands the track moves into the sea. Then you ride over some narrow racks to reach the finish line.
Don't be afraid to be dismounted, the water is shallow enough. It’s a nice round-trip of the island!

The track ends on the southern beach.

Cosmetics 2026: Flowering Sun Garments

The Garments of the Flowering Sun consists of four pieces: a dress, a tunic, and two cloaks, with and without a hood. It’s clearly made for elvish wedding guests! The beautiful blue is a little darker than sea-blue, which yields full and rich colours when dyed.
The dress comes with red-brown shoes. They look nice with the original colour, but may be less suited with others. The tunic has no shoes, so you can choose for yourself.

Every piece costs 10 Midsummer Tokens.

The Circlet of Hanging Blooms pairs just as well in its original colour with Arwen's Dinner Dress (right) as with the plainer Simbelmynë Dress (left), but can also be dyed freely.

The Ceremonial Staff of the Eternal Sun has a design that has been around for a long time (all "Eternal Sun" staves look like this).
Cost: also 10 Midsummer Tokens.

To carry a staff in your hand as in the picture below, you can use the emote "/stoicpose", which is available in the store. I don't know of other ways, though it does seem to be possible based on screenshots from other players where the staff is held horizontally. If you know how, please let me know too :-)

Mount 2024

The Ringló Vale Steed (or Pony) is only available in the silver Hobbit Gifts during the Midsummer Festival. You cannot buy it.

In the golden Hobbit Gifts you may find the Elven Leaf War-steed Cosmetics, but only if/when, for some reason I cannot fathom, the Yule Festival is relaunched at the same time. That said, it does actually fit the Midsummer Festival quite nicely too. Image from the LotRO-Wiki:

Cosmetics 2021: Entwining Blossoms Garments

All pieces except the golden ones (circlet and mantle) can be dyed. White is an interesting colour here, as it creates a rainbow effect like Saruman's robes. Belegaer Blue also brings out this effect beautifully. And radiant sea-blue is simply cheerful!

The hoodless cloak, which initially had a hood, has since visited the tailor.

The boots look knee-high in the pictures. In reality they are barely ankle-high; the tall boot shaft you see in the pictures is actually part of the tunic! This makes the boots extremely versatile.

Four of the fireworks - the white Wedding Ring Fireworks, the white and green-and-white Niphredil Fireworks, and the Elanor Fireworks - can be purchased from Feredis, the Barter-matron for 2 Midsummer Tokens each. Use 25 of each to complete a deed and receive the relevant fireworks as a permanent skill. It will appear in your inventory and can be used/learned from there.
The golden Wedding Ring Fireworks can be purchased ready-made from Feredis in the category “Emotes”.
