The Virtues

Federkiel

By doing certain "deeds", your LotRo character can achieve so-called virtues, which will greatly improve your abilities. You can find them in your Book of Deeds (Ctrl + L). Click the tab "Eriador" vz. "Rhovanion" to make small bookmarks appear at the bottom of the book. These stand for the different areas of Middle Earth, and it's there you will find the deeds you can do in each area.
Take care: You have to unlock these deeds by starting them, e.g. by killing a monster of the required type or discovering a landmark. Otherwise, the pages will remain blank.
Every virtue improves three traits, like stats or resistances. Visit a Bard (there is one in all major settlements) to equip your virtues. You can only equip a certain number of virtues at a given level.
Enhancing a virtue takes a lot of time and effort. Therefore, you should consider well which ones you really want, and then proceed systematically.
A very, VERY valuable tool is:

The Virtue Planner

This is a new and overhauled version of Rhoderic's "Tugendenplaner". I kicked out various typos and wrong links and added some information.
So far, it is in German, with links to the German database site Der Widerstand. Come time, come translation.

Many thanks to Rhoderic for this lovely goodie!

Virtue table

This table is meant to illustrate the distribution of the trait boni. The values are those of rank 1.

Orange: strong bonus.
Yellow: medium bonus.
Blue: light bonus.

Values are automatically enhanced with each rank, with the exception of the light morale regeneration in combat bonus of Tolerance, which won't be further enhanced. Otherwise, the stronger the bonus, the stronger the enhancement.

Question: Should 'Power reg. out of combat (2)' really be 'Power reg. in combat'?

Thanks to the database of the 'Widerstand' where I finally found the last missing values. You can also find the values for higher ranks there.
